Abstraksi
PT. Surveyor Indonesia has been using web based survey application to support their activity of collecting shipyard and ship component industry data. However, in the use of application, it still has some vital drawbacks such as internet dependency and lack of portability.it makes surveyor who is conducted a survey work twice, surveyor has to fill in the data in the paper then input the data to the system after conducting a survey. That inefficiency is able to be addressed by developing Android based application because Android based application has capability to be used without internet connection by utilizing Android's component's such as service, connectivity manager and alarm manager. Based on above explanation, research in discussing survey Android based application development is conducted. this research used iterative and incremental software development life cycle in developing the application, used java programming language and used SQLite as its storage. this application is integrated with the web based application that belongs to PT. Surveyor Indonesia
