ABSTRAKSI: <font size="3" face="Times New Roman"> <p align="left">Saat ini dan di masa yang akan datang sistem komunikasi </p> <p align="left">untuk mentransmisikan data maupun suara dengan kecepatan yang tinggi, memiliki</p> <p align="left">efisiensi bandwidth dan mempunyai kemampuan yang handal pada kondisi kanal</p> <p align="left">yang mengalami </p> </font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">wireless </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">dituntut</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">multipath fading effect. </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Sistem komunikasi bergerak </font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Multi-Carrier</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"> <p align="left">CDMA (MC-CDMA) merupakan perpaduan antara teknik modulasi </p> <p align="left">teknologi </p> </font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">multicarrier </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">dan</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">spread spectrum </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">(CDMA). MC-CDMA sebagai sistem komunikasi digital</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"> <p align="left">wireless </p> </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">dipercaya memiliki kehandalan dalam mengatasi lingkungan propagasi</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"> <p align="left">multipath </p> <p align="left">meningkatkan efisiensi spektral dengan pemakaian </p> <p align="left">sistem komunikasi secara umum selalu terdapat tiga komponen yang terlibat, yaitu</p> <p align="left">pengirim, penerima, dan media transmisi. Pada MC-CDMA, di sisi penerima</p> <p align="left">membutuhkan blok combiner yang berguna untuk me-</p> <p align="left">Pada tugas akhir ini telah dianalisa perbandingan antara skema </p> <p align="left">combining linier </p> </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">dan </font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">frequency selective fading</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">. Selain itu MC-CDMA juga mampu</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">carrier </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">yang orthogonal. Dalam</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">restore </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">sinyal yang diterima.</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">adaptive</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">dan </font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">non linier</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">. </font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Adaptive combining linier </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">menggunakan algoritma</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"> <p align="left">Recursive Least Square </p> <p align="left">combining non linier menggunakan </p> <p align="left">algoritma LMS (DFE-LMS). Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui</p> <p align="left">performansi dan konvergenitas dari ketiga metode combining tersebut. Parameter</p> <p align="left">utama dalam menganalisa algoritma adaptive combining adalah Laju konvergensi,</p> <p align="left">MSE dan BER.</p> <p align="left">Dari hasil simulasi menggunakan subcarrier sebanyak 64 pada kanal </p> </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">(RLS) dan </font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Least Mean Square </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">(LMS). Sedangkan adaptive</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Decision Feedback Equalizer </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">(DFE) dengan</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">AWGN</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"> <p align="left">maupun </p> <p align="left">mencapai BER=10</p> <p align="left">performansi paling rendah dibanding skema DFE-LMS dan LMS. Pada kanal</p> <p align="left">AWGN, skema RLS membutuhkan SNR = 5.6 dB, skema LMS membutuhkan SNR =</p> <p align="left">4.8 dB dan DFE-LMS membutuhkan SNR = 4.6 dB. Sedangkan pada kanal </p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left">skema RLS membutuhkan SNR = 8.7 dB, skema LMS membutuhkan SNR = 7.6 dB</p> <p align="left">dan skema DFE-LMS membutuhkan SNR = 6.6 dB. Tetapi dilihat dari tingkat</p> <p align="left">konvergensi (dengan </p> <p align="left">memiliki laju konvergensi paling cepat dibandingkan LMS dan DFE-LMS. Skema</p> <p align="left">RLS membutuhkan 110 iterasi untuk konvergen, skema LMS 600 iterasi dan skema</p> <p align="left">DFE-LMS 900 iterasi.</p> </font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Rayleigh untuk <font size="3" face="Times New Roman"></font><font size="1" face="Times New Roman">-</font><em><font size="1" face="Times New Roman">3</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">, skema RLS memberikan tingkat</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Rayleigh,</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"></font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">stepsize & forgetting factor =</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">0.0001</font><em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">)</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">, skema algoritma RLS</font></em></em></em></em></font></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em></em>Kata Kunci : -ABSTRACT: <em><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"> <p align="left">Nowadays and in the future, wireless communication system obliged for high</p> <p align="left">speed data rate and voice transmission, good bandwidth efficiency and also have a</p> <p align="left">reliable ability through the channel condition which have multipath fading effect.</p> <p align="left">Mobile communication system Multi-Carrier CDMA (MC-CDMA) is a combination</p> <p align="left">between multicarrier modulation technique and spread spectrum technologies</p> <p align="left">(CDMA), MC-CDMA as a wireless digital communication system trusted to have</p> <p align="left">good reliability in multipath propagation and good to overcoming frequency selective</p> <p align="left">fading. MC-CDMA also good to increase spectral efficiency using orthogonal carrier.</p> <p align="left">In generally, communication systems have 3 components, there are transmitter,</p> <p align="left">receiver, and transmittion media (channel). MC-CDMA system, in the receiver side</p> <p align="left">need combiner block that good to restoring receive signal.</p> <p align="left">This final task have been analysed the comparison between linier adaptive</p> <p align="left">combining scheme and non linier adaptive combining scheme. Linier adaptive</p> <p align="left">combining using RLS (Recursive Least Square) algorithm and LMS (Least Mean</p> <p align="left">Square) algorithm. Whereas non-linier adaptive combining using DFE-LMS</p> <p align="left">(Decision Feedback Equalizer-LMS) algorithm. The purpose of this final task is to</p> <p align="left">know about the performance and convergence of RLS, LMS dan DFE-LMS method.</p> <p align="left">Convergence rate, Mean Square Error (MSE) and Bit Error Rate were the main</p> <p align="left">parameter in analyzing adaptive combining algorithm.</p> <p align="left">From simulation result using 64 subcarrier in AWGN or Rayleigh channel to</p> <p align="left">get BER = 10</p> <p align="left">than DFE-LMS algorithm or RLS algorithm. In AWGN channel, RLS scheme need</p> <p align="left">SNR = 5.6 dB to get BER = 10</p> <p align="left">need SNR = 4.6 dB. While in Rayleigh channel, RLS scheme need SNR =8.7 dB, LMS</p> <p align="left">scheme need SNR = 7.6 dB and DFE-LMS need SNR = 6.6 dB. But in Convergence</p> <p align="left">rate, RLS scheme give the fastest convergence rate than LMS scheme and DFE-LMS</p> <p align="left">scheme. RLS scheme need 110 iteration to convergent, LMS scheme need 600</p> <p align="left">iteration and DFE-LMS need 900 itertation.</p> </font><font size="1" face="Times New Roman">-3 </font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">, shows that RLS algorithm scheme have lowest level of performance</font><font size="1" face="Times New Roman">-3</font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">, LMS scheme need SNR = 4.8 dB and DFE-LMS</font></em>Keyword: -
