ABSTRAKSI: Analisa performansi pada web server cukup penting dilakukan untuk mengetahui performansi web server dan mengantisipasi adanya penurunan kualitas performansi di masa mendatang. Salah satu parameter performansi yang krusial adalah page response time, yang terkait langsung dengan kepuasan user. Berbagai model kedatangan pun digunakan untuk menguji performansi web server. Salah satu yang cukup sering dipakai adalah model kedatangan Poisson Process. Di samping itu, ada pula model kedatangan berbasis MMPP yang sering digunakan untuk memodelkan trafik yang bursty. Untuk itulah Tugas Akhir ini dilaksanakan, guna menguji kedua jenis model kedatangan tersebut pada 2 jenis web server yang berbeda yaitu Apache dan Lighttpd. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan akan terlihat pengaruh perbedaan model kedatangan pada performansi page response time dari kedua jenis web server.<br>Kata Kunci : Poisson Process, MMPP, Apache, Lighttpd, Page Response TimeABSTRACT: Web server performance analysis is quite an important task in order to ensure web server performance and (if necessary) provide an early alert of web server performance decreasing. One of the most crusial performance parameter is page response time which is affect the user satisfaction. Several arrival model have been used to test the web server performance. The commonly used one is Poisson Process, and there is also MMMP arrival model that used to modelling the bursty traffic. According to what has been explained above, this final assignment is conduct to implement those 2 arrival models into 2 kinds of web server (Apache and Lighttpd) in order to analyse the difference of page response time given by each web server due to the difference of arrival model.<br><br>Keyword: MMPP, Poisson Porcess, Apache, Lighttpd, Page Response Time
