ABSTRAKSI: Semakin banyaknya penggunaan perangkat lunak berbasis services seperti web services pada perusahaan-perusahaan skala besar, memacu para vendor perangkat lunak untuk memberikan layanan untuk mengakomodasi dari pengembangan berbasis services. Salah satu layanan dalam pengembangan web services ini adalah Web Services Software Factory (WSSF), yaitu pengembangan web services dengan mengadopsi cara-cara factory.<br> Permasalahan yang timbul dalam pengembangan web services adalah seperti masalah-masalah dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak pada umumnya, salah satunya masalah perubahan akan requirements, baik perubahan yang sifatnya perubahan atau penambahan (extensibility). WSSF sebagai tools dalam pengembangan web services tentunya punya cara tersendiri untuk extensibility. Extensibility pada Web Services Software Factory akan dibandingkan dengan Web Services pada umumnya. Selain itu belum adanya paduan mengenai pengembangan WSSF dalam konteks metodologi pengembangan perangkat lunak, yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemiripan pengembangan WSSF dengan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak.Kata Kunci : Web Services, Web Service Software Factory, Software Factory, Extensibility, Sofware MethodologyABSTRACT: The uses of services-based software such as web services on enterprises large-scale, spur of the software vendor to provide services to accommodate the development of services based.
