This study research’s title is “Radio Format Transformation (Strategic Management Case Study of 107,5 FM PR FM Radio’s Format Transformation From a Woman’s Radio to a news Radio)”. As for the main study of the research is the strategic management process.
The main purpose of this study research is to acknowledge the strategic management that PR FM did on their format transformation.
This research is a qualitative research using a case study, with an interview, observation, and documents study technique. In analyzing the strategic management process, the datas was gathered from an inside informant of PR FM.
The outcome of this study ,research is a strategic management that Mr. Purnomo and Mr. Zulkifilmansyah told about, which are: Environment Analysis, Choosing and Deciding the Company’s Orientation, Strategic Formulation, Strategic Implementation, and Strategic Controlling.
