One of the most convincing symptoms of the bad condition in an organization is lack of job satisfaction. In its worst symptoms were hiding behind job strike, ineffeciency work, absenteeism and employee turnover. Organizational climate can influence job satisfaction by establishing employees’ expectations about their perception of organizational climate (Davis and Newstrom, 1994:23).
The purpose of this research is to seek the influence of organizational climate to job satisfaction of Telkom Institute of Management (IM Telkom) employees’.
The methodology used in this research is descriptive causal. Descriptive research method is used to seek the condition of each variable, while causal used to prove a causal relationship between the variables.
The population and sample in this research are 69 employees of IM Telkom. In analyzing the data, the author used simple regression analysis.
The conclusion is that employees’ perception of organizational climate is high with percentage of 70.20%, while job satisfaction is high with percentage of 74.22%. Furthermore, organizational climate (X) influence on job satisfaction (Y) equal to 0.558 and organizational climate significantly influences employees’ job satisfaction in IM Telkom.
