The purpose if this study is to empirically study the effect of corporate environments variables: Internal and eksternal environments of the XL Axiata firms period 2007-2012. Data is sampled using purposive sampling method. The population in this study were all employees of PT XL Axiata in Jakarta, with a sample of 110 respondents. The result of this study using factor analysis finds that variables Internal and technology dominant influence competitive advantage that is composed of variable power technology, research and development aspects, aspects of human resources, bergaining power of buyers, the marketing aspect, bergaining power of suppliers, and financial aspects.
