ABSTRAKSI: Informasi menjadi bagian yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia pada saat ini dan menjadi salah satu kebutuhan yang tidak dapat ditawar lagi. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi, tuntutan pemenuhan akan kebutuhan informasi semakin besar. Tidak menghiraukan keterbatasan tempat untuk akses informasi. Terutama dalam perjalan laut seperti dikapal. Kapal yang sedang dalam perjalanan laut, hanya mendapat akses langsung dari satelit dan sulit mendapat akses informasi dikarenakan keterbatasan ruang gerak. Dibutuhkan suatu alat yang dapat melacak keberadaan satelit secara terus menerus.
Untuk memenuhi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan suatu automatic finder pada tempat yang mobilitasnya akan terus berubah, seperti pada kapal. Dibutuhkan suatu alat yang dapat terus bekerja dengan adanya perpindahan posisi tersebut. Dengan alat tersebut maka antena akan bergerak pada posisi yang tepat terhadap suatu titik yang kita kehendaki, yaitu satelit. Digunakan teknologi Mikrokontroller ATMEGA. Teknologi ini akan diintegrasikan pada penggerak antenna yang dikombinasikan dengan 2 motor servo dan GPS modul untuk menggerakan antenna pemancar ke posisi yang kita kehendaki.
Keluaran dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah sebuah automatic finder untuk mengarahkan antena dengan penyimpangan sudut elevasi sebesar 5.408630667 derajat dan penyimpangan sudut azimuth sebesar 2.423567 derajat.
