ABSTRAKSI: Proyektor merupakan alat untuk proses menjelaskan, atau menampilkan bahan presentasi layar slide. Alat ini sudah digunakan di berbagai institusi, baik di sekolah, perguruan tinggi, kantoran, dan tempat-tempat lain. Tidak terkecuali di IT Telkom proyektor juga sudah banyak digunakan contohnya ruang rapat dosen, dan Aula IT Telkom, itu berarti penggunaan proyektor sangat penting dan sangat dibutuhkan untuk mempermudah menjelaskan bahan ajar, maupun bahan presentasi. Penggunaan proyektor pada ruang kelas mahasiswa yang menjadi permasalahan, karena ruang kelas itu tidak setiap jam selalu digunakan, kadang kelas sudah dipakai tapi proyektornya tetap masih terus hidup (on). Hal itu membuat Ofice Boy mesti memeriksa setiap kelas untuk memastikan digunakan atau tidak proyektor, dan itu pekerjaan yang sangat rumit karena ruangan kelas sangat banyak dan jumlah Office boy pun sedikit.
Pada proyek akhir telah dibuat aplikasi atau perangkat lunak untuk dapat memonitoring ruang kelas dan penggunaan proyektor. Alat monitoring ini mendapatkan informasi dari webcam yang memonitor ruangan apakah kosong atau terisi oleh mahasiswa, ketika alat software tersebut sudah mendapat informasi maka perangkat lunak memberikan instruksi melalui aplikasi tersebut yang lansung terhubung ke alat hardware atau mikrokontroller dimana alat mikrokontroller ini terhubung ke remote proyektor dan alat hardware ini yang lansung mematikan atau menghidupkan proyektor melalui remote.
Pada proyek akhir ini telah diuji bagaimana perangkat lunak ini bisa terhubung dengan baik ke alat hardware atau perangkat keras untuk bisa mengontrol power proyektor melalui aplikasi secara jarak jauh.
